Kai Shi is a renowned expert in digital transformation and data strategy with over 20 years of experience. He started his career as a software engineer at IBM's R&D Center and later led enterprise process reengineering, ERP and digital initiatives at Accenture and EMC. He then served as Director Consultant and General Manager of the Data Intelligence Division at ThoughtWorks, and subsequently as Consulting General Manager for Alibaba Cloud in China, driving large-scale digital transformation programs for major enterprises.
Kai is the creator of the Lean Data Methodology and author of "Lean Data Discovery – Data-driven Digital Transformation." He has delivered 50+ keynotes at leading conferences such as the World Internet Conference, Apsara Conference and ArchSummit, and has consulted for over 100 enterprises. In 2019, Kai was recognized as a Global Data Enabler in the DataIQ 100, an annual list that honors the most influential data and analytics leaders who are driving innovation and transformation across industries. This prestigious recognition highlights his significant contributions to the field of data strategy and digital transformation.
